Al-Monitor.com, an independent American media company and news site dedicated to in-depth coverage and analysis of the Middle East, is pleased to announce the launch of a new, updated website.
Al-Monitor brings together, on one platform, many of the region’s most prominent journalists and analysts, writing in English, as well as in Arabic, Hebrew, Persian, and Turkish. Al-Monitor also provides reporting from a diverse array of independent media partners throughout the Middle East.
For the re-launch, Al-Monitor used Electric Pulp, which has also done web design and development for Google, Ford Motor Company, The Colbert Report, and The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. The new design was tailored to the wide range and diversity of Al-Monitor’s global readership, who come to the site in five different languages. The new site uses a responsive design model to optimize the user's experience across desktop, tablet and smartphone devices.
“We’re thrilled to have been involved in such an far-reaching project and we couldn’t be more excited about the results," said Stefan Hartwig, Partner and Designer at Electric Pulp.
“The response from Al-Monitor readers has been overwhelmingly positive,” said Andrew Parasiliti, Editor & CEO of Al-Monitor. “Our readers are finding that the new site is more visually engaging, and more user and social media friendly.”
